  • Amazing footage is more than 15 months old

Gout Gout has gained even more fans across the world after a video of one of his jaw-dropping 100m runs was viewed more than 25 million times since being posted on Saturday.

However, the teenage sensation actually completed the sprint more than a year ago.

Gout clocked an incredible 10.04-second time in the 100m sprint at the Australian All Schools Athletics Championships back in December 2024.

But that didn’t matter to millions of sport fans who were amazed by the run when the vision was re-posted to X by the @Bigqadi account last weekend.

They have been left awestruck, with many going online to express their admiration for Gout.

‘Damn!!!!! Is this guy real??? Look at the speed!!! Wow. Just wow,’ one person commented.

‘Did anyone remember Usain Bolt while watching him?’ another added.

‘That’s crazy because he sucks out of the blocks. Once he gets that under control, he’s hitting 9s easily. That’s insane,’ another wrote.

The new post once again shows Gout’s run at the Athletics Championships in Brisbane, which was recorded when he was just 16 years old. It has now received 99,000 likes.

A total of 12,000 users have shared the video, while a further 7200 have bookmarked it.

Gout’s recent exposure comes just weeks after he stunned Australia at the Dane Bird-Smith Shield Meet in Queensland with a time of 10 seconds flat for the 100m.

The teen set the fastest time ever by an Australian aged under 20 and the equal-fastest legal run by an Australian man on home soil.

Gout is yet to record a time of under 10 seconds for the 100m, but experts say it is a matter of when, not if.

The superstar will next take to the track at the Maurie Plant Meet in Melbourne on Saturday night.

He’s set to take on fellow Queenslander Lachie Kennedy and South Africa’s Benjamin Richardson in the 200 metres.
