CBS Sports presenter Kate Scott had an extremely close call after splitting her dress during their live broadcast on Wednesday.
The glamorous TV host was on duty for CBS’ coverage of the Champions League, during which she suffered the embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.
Midway through the broadcast, former USMNT star Clint Dempsey offered some handshakes and fist bumps to his fellow panelists, including Scott.
The 44-year-old had to stretch across the table and, as she did so, split the side of her dress before quickly covering herself with her hand.
Scott said: ‘I just broke my top!’, while her co-hosts Dempsey, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards laughed at the unfortunate incident.
Richards joked: ‘Give us a stretch, Kate!’

However, Scott was able to keep her composure and delivered an update on the networks’ broadcast plans for the evening.
The incident went viral on social media shortly after, with one user writing: ‘Kate Scott with the cat-like reflexes to save her top’.
Meanwhile, another praised Scott’s professionalism amid the mishap, writing: ‘Kate might be the best in the business’.
The CBS Sports presenter previously went by Kate Abdo before she tied the knot in 2024 with Malik Scott – an American former heavyweight professional boxer.
Their relationship was first revealed live on air by pundits Carragher and Richards in December 2023 and since then, Kate, 43, and Malik, 44, have shared the occasional glimpse into their private lives for their social media followers.
The couple made headlines last year after Carragher made an incredibly awkward joke about her loyalty to Scott during a live broadcast.
During CBS Sports’ coverage of Arsenal’s clash with Porto last season, the former Liverpool defender donned an Arsenal shirt after the game, but Abdo refused as the Manchester United fan insisted she was ‘loyal’.
Carragher snapped back ‘not to Malik’, leaving Abdo and his fellow pundits stunned.

Abdo replied: ‘What? How can you even say that?,’ while Henry and Richards smiled awkwardly.
Carragher then attempted to explain the comment, noting that Scott ‘hasn’t had a mention on the show tonight.’
Scott – a former boxer who now trains Deontay Wilder – branded Carragher ‘obnoxious’ after his ill-judged joke, and threatened to ‘show up in a physical manner’ if he upset Abdo.
Carragher apologised and Abdo put the matter to bed during CBS’s Champions League coverage the following evening, but later admitted she ‘felt hurt’ when he appeared to question her relationship.
