The stars on stage did not hold back during The Roast of Kevin Hart, which aired live on Netflix Sunday.
On the closing night of the 2026 Netflix is a Joke Fest, Hart was ruthlessly torn apart by a panel — hosted by Shane Gillis — consisting of Pete Davidson, Chelsea Handler, Regina Hall, Draymond Green, Tony Hinchcliffe and Sheryl Underwood.
The surprise guest list brought even more A-listers to Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, with former roast subject Tom Brady taking the stage to pass on some brutal jabs. Other shocking appearances included Usher, Teyana Taylor, Lizzo, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Katt Williams, and Venus and Serena Williams.
Among the stars in the audience were Jennifer Lopez and Tiffany Haddish, while Hart’s wife, Eniko Hart, was seated front and center in the crowd to watch her comedian husband be humiliated in front of the world.
Read on for some of the most grimace-inducing jokes of the night.

Chelsea Handler and Shane Gillis exchange brutal blows over Epstein and anti-Asian slur
While introducing Handler, Gillis said: “Chelsea is a Zionist… Speaking of dead kids, she’s a big fan of abortions. Chelsea’s been scraped more times than the grill at Benihana.”
He then ramped up the attack, adding: “Speaking of tossing tiny shrimp into a child’s mouth, Chelsea Handler went to dinner at Jeffrey Epstein’s house in 2010. Look it up, there’s articles. It wasn’t like a big party, there were like seven people there. It was like Prince Andrew and Woody Allen were there.”
On stage, Handler responded: “Just so you know, Judaism and Zionism are two different things.”
She went on to reference an anti-Asian slur that went viral in 2019 from Gillis’ podcast that ultimately got him fired from SNL: “Just like how Chinatown and Koreatown are two different things, but your favourite slur works in both places.”
Handler has previously addressed the Epstein dinner referenced in Gillis’s joke.
“I did go to dinner at Jeffrey Epstein’s house,” she shared on Rob Lowe’s podcast in 2025. “I didn’t know who Jeffrey Epstein was… I went with Katie Couric. Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn were there. Charlie Rose was there. Oh yeah, Prince Andrew was there with — no, with no one. He was there with Jeffrey Epstein.”

After an introduction by Hall, Williams took the stage as a surprise guest at the roast and addressed his longstanding public feud with Hart.
“I’m surprised they invited me,” Williams began. “That’s how little star power you have. They had to start inviting your enemies. I said, ‘I hate him.’ They said, ‘Come anyway.’”
He continued: “You’re wondering, why is the Katt man doing this? For the money, bitch. This is my Riyadh Comedy Festival, only one with a soul.”
Last year, Hart and other comedians sparked backlash for performing at the controversial Riyadh Comedy Festival in Saudi Arabia, which was widely criticized over the country’s poor human rights record.

Later in his set, Williams joked: “They tried to cancel Kevin for the Diddy parties. They hurled allegations at him. But thanks to all the baby oil, the charges didn’t stick.”
Diddy, real name Sean Combs, is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence after he was convicted last year on two counts of transportation for prostitution over his sex parties called “freak-offs.” Last year’s trial against Combs revealed that baby oil was routinely used during the “freak-offs.”
The disgraced rapper was acquitted of two sex trafficking charges and one racketeering charge in the case. Combs has denied all allegations against him.
Hart had a public friendship with Combs, but has never been accused of any wrongdoing at his parties. The comedian joked about Diddy’s parties during his opening monologue at last year’s BET Awards.
“I want to be clear, just because Kevin went to Diddy parties does not mean he did something wrong,” Williams quipped before adding, “The fact he gets all quiet when you bring it up — that means he did something wrong.”
At the end of his set, Hart came on stage and hugged Williams, saying: “Me and this man have been at odds for years on years. You coming out here, quite the f***ing surprise. But Katt, I can sit, I can watch you, I can laugh because I’m a f***ing fan first. Katt, we have an opportunity in real time. This is live television to put our f***ing beef behind us.
“I am offering you an olive branch of peace. I want to be a brother. I want to be a friend, Katt. I want to move on. Can we move on?” Hart said.
Tom Brady gets revenge on Kevin Hart with joke about cheating scandal
Two years after Hart hosted The Roast of Tom Brady in 2024 and made several jokes about his then-recent divorce from Gisele Bündchen, the NFL icon finally got his revenge by surprising Hart on stage.
“All right, this won’t take long, because, as you guys know, I’m a busy man,” he said after taking the stage.
“But I do have a few words for you before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas.” Brady is a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders NFL team and the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.
He continued: “Oh, wait, I’m talking about affairs in Las Vegas. Was that off? Not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas? I think I broke another rule. F*** it. I talked about it.”

The jab referenced Hart’s public cheating scandal in 2017, when footage of him with model Montia Sabbag in Las Vegas was used in an alleged extortion attempt.
Hart later issued a public apology to Eniko — who was pregnant at the time of the affair — and admitted he made a “bad error in judgment.” The couple later reconciled and had a second child together in 2020.
Chelsea Handler takes aim at fellow comedians with Saudi Arabia joke
Williams was not the only guest to mention the controversial Riyadh Comedy Festival during the roast.
Handler started her set by condemning comedians who performed at the criticized festival before later adding: “Now that your favorite leader is making the draft mandatory, I assume that all of you will be signing up to go fight the war in Iran.
“Or do you tough-talking p***ies only go to the Middle East for comedy festivals?” she said.
Pete Davidson unleashes on MAGA comedian Tony Hinchcliffe
Davidson demolished Trump-supporting comedian Tony Hinchcliffe with a series of brutal jokes, starting with, “Tony is here looking like both a child molester and the doll they give the child to show where he touched them.”
The SNL alum then said, “Tony reminds me of Charlie Kirk, in that he’s definitely been on camera letting a guy unload in his throat.”
Kirk, a conservative commentator and the founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot in the neck in September 2025 while he spoke at Utah Valley University. He died at age 31.
Despite the audience’s gasps, Davidson continued, “Oh, you don’t know me? Kill Tony. Please someone f**ing kill Tony,” he said, referencing Hinchcliffe’s podcast name.
“Tony, nothing you say tonight will hurt my feelings. I was in a beef with Kanye, so I’ve taken shots from better gay Nazis,” he said.
