Four people have been taken to hospital after being exposed to excess chlorine at a swimming pool and spa in Derbyshire.
Emergency services were called to Clifford’s Gym and Spa in Regent Street, Long Eaton, at 10:27 GMT on Tuesday.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said 27 people had been exposed and 10 were showing symptoms relating to exposure.
None of the symptoms are serious, the fire service added.
A spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) said it sent “a number of resources” after receiving a call reporting a medical emergency.
The trust said it took four patients to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been informed.
The manager on duty told the the gym remained open.
