Former NFL linebacker Kroy Biermann has begun working for a rigging and erection company as he reportedly battles financial strife and a ‘messy’ divorce.
The 39-year-old spent nearly a decade in the NFL, playing for the Atlanta Falcons and the Buffalo Bills between 2008 and 2016.
Now, though, Biermann has begun to carve out a new career after taking a job as a ‘crane and rigging coordinator’.
As reported by TMZ, the former linebacker has joined Superior Rigging & Erecting Co, a company that builds sports stadiums.
It’s claimed that, in recent years, Superior Rigging & Erecting Co have helped renovate State Farm Arena – home to the Atlanta Hawks – and build Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the state-of-the-art home of the Falcons and Atlanta United.
According to a LinkedIn profile that appears to belong to Biermann, the former NFL star’s role ‘is pivotal in ensuring seamless execution from the initial customer interaction to the successful completion of each job’.

The 39-year-old is said to be going through a ‘messy’ divorce from his wife Kim Zolciak-Biermann
It’s claimed that Kroy’s new role comes amid ‘major finacial problems’ after he and his wife, reality star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, allegedly ran into debt.
Their Georgia mansion is reportedly in foreclosure and has failed to sell – despite the couple cutting the price from $6million to $3.95m.
TMZ reports that the house will go to auction next week.
It’s said that the couple moved out of the house in recent days, with Zolciak-Biermann trying to raise cash by ‘selling fake Christmas trees on Instagram’.
According to TMZ, cops have been called to their home a number of times since the couple began divorce proceedings back in May 2023.
The couple were recently told to stay away from each other after police intervened in their latest dispute. Earlier this month, it’s claimed, both Biermann and Zolciak-Biermann accused the other of stealing possessions from them.
