Former Adelaide Crows player Andrew McLeod has gone viral, after a photo showing off his new physique, was posted to social media.

The 49-year-old has been snapped with current Adelaide 36ers superstar Bryce Cotton after a session at the Adelaide Fight Club.

McLeod enjoyed a successful career on the footy field, claiming two premierships, and two Norm-Smith medals.

Fans have been shocked with the stunning body transformation, and have since taken to social media to voice their surprise.

‘McLeod looks like John Rambo … seriously he could still play now,’ one person wrote.

‘Please grab your jersey and run out for the Crows again,’ another added.

‘JackedLeod!,’ one more said.

‘Jesus McLeod is looking shredded,’ another claimed.

Former AFL star and current podcaster Dan Gorringe was also left in awe of Mcleod’s biceps.

‘Andrew McLeod is jacked as hell,’ Gorringe said.

‘What is Andrew McLeod doing to have that Benjamin Button thing, plus, because he looks better than he has ever looked.

‘And if you’re the Crows, just chuck him the guernsey,’

‘Just chuck him one and put him anywhere.’

The Crows legend played a record 340 matches for the club and was the first to win back-to-back Norm Smith medals in a decorated career.

McLeod was born in Darwin, but moved to Katherine for a portion of his childhood.

Interestingly, his first Crows teammates even gave him the nickname ‘Hamburger’,  because he was viewed as ‘chubby’.

The 49-year-old has since put that belief to bed, with fans likening his current physical condition to that of Rambo.

Despite being a clean-skin on and off the field in his playing days, McLeod found himself embroiled in a controversy back in 2005.

He, and Lleyton Hewitt were involved in a much publicised disagreement over the use of vision shot at Aboriginal sacred sites in a DVD Hewitt was to release.
