Fans have turned on Jude Bellingham after spotting his role in Barcelona’s opening goal in their Copa del Rey victory over Real Madrid.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side suffered a 3-2 defeat by their rivals when they met on Saturday evening – with Barcelona’s Jules Kounde scoring the winner in the 116th minute.
It was the latest blow for Los Blancos, who were knocked out of the Champions League just a week prior and still trail in the race for the LaLiga.
Bellingham was sent off in the final moments of the match which drew ire from Madrid fans – and now fans in general have taken aim after seeing new footage.
In a clip that went viral, the England international could be seen giving the ball away on the half-way line – with his pass intercepted by Barcelona midfielder Pedri.
Instead of chasing down the ball, Bellingham stood for a moment with his head on his hands as his Spanish counterpart quickly distributed the ball to a team-mate.

The midfielder failed to keep up with Pedri – who went on to score Barcelona’s opening goal
The clip continues and shows Pedri running past the Madrid star and eventually latch on to his team-mates pass before smashing the ball into the back of the net.
Bellingham, meanwhile, was nowhere near the Barcelona No. 8 and was out of shot by the time the ball was in the goal.
The caption to the post read: ‘Bellingham gives the ball away and spends his time standing still reacting, meanwhile Pedri makes a pass, runs by him, and scores’.
Bellingham was shown a red card after the final whistle ‘approaching the referee aggressively’ and needing ‘to be restrained by team-mates’.
A clip that has circulated on social media shows the Englishman ranting: ‘Everything 50/50 goes their way, everything 50/50.’
Madrid were left incensed by officiating on the night and, along with Bellingham, defender Antonio Rudiger let his frustrations be known post-match.
The former Chelsea defender lost his cool and received a red card for throwing an ice pack towards Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea after arguing against a decision in the final stages of their 3-2 loss to bitter rivals Barcelona.
Rudiger, who moved to the Bernabeu in 2022, had to be restrained by Ferland Mendy and a Madrid staff member when the official approached to send him off.
He could be seen insulting the referee, with some reports claiming the defender said ‘you’re a miscarriage’ and ‘son of a wh***’.
The referee said in his post-match report that Rudiger was sent off for: ‘throwing an object from the technical area, which missed me.’

Rudiger’s head loss has seen him come in for widespread criticism, and he could even now face a huge 12-match ban.
Following Madrid’s loss, Rudiger wrote: ‘There’s definitely no excuse for my behaviour last night. I’m very sorry for that.
‘We played a very good game from the 2nd half on – After 111 minutes I was not able to help my team anymore and before the final whistle I did a mistake.
‘Sorry again to the referee and to everyone I have disappointed last night.’
