Fans left aching with laughter as Kylian Mbappe issues hilarious response to goalkeeper who tried to put him off before taking Real Madrid penalty

Fans could not suppress their laughter after Kylian Mbappe issued an amusing retort to a goalkeeper who tried to put him off a penalty. 

The Real Madrid star was preparing to take a spot-kick against Espanyol on Saturday when goalkeeper Joan Garcia wandered over with mischief on his mind. 

It has been a flying start for Mbappe in the Spanish capital after his switch from PSG and he has six goals in eight appearances. 

Garcia was hoping to throw a spanner into the works at the weekend as the Frenchman prepared for a stoppage-time penalty at the Santiago Bernabeu. 

The one problem? As Mbappe put it: ‘I don’t understand one f*cking word you’re trying to say to me!’

Mbappe couldn’t help but giggle at his own comeback while team-mate Lucas Vasquez struggled to contain his amusement. 

And just to rub salt in the wound, Mbappe converted his penalty to make it 4-1 to Madrid. 

‘So funny,’ wrote one connoisseur of comedy on X. 

‘He’s funny as icl,’ said another. 

‘I’m dead asffff,’ wrote one, alarmingly. 

‘The audacity,’ one said. 

‘That’s cold from him,’ another said. 

All of the comments were completed with dollops of laughing emojis. Why doesn’t Mbappe just take up a career in comedy?

There is, however, something that will not come as a laughing matter to Mbappe and his squadron of internet cheerleaders. 

According to Marca, one Real Madrid star has already been told that he is set to win the Ballon d’Or in Paris next month – and that man is not Mbappe.
