A Socceroos fan with a large following has gone viral on social media for making fun of the USA with a series of pointed chants at Australia’s FIFA World Cup clash against the host nation.

Stand-up comedian Amos Gill filmed himself shouting the series of chants during Australia’s 2-0 loss to the USA in Seattle last Saturday.

He has now posted a TikTok video showing off his work, which has since received more than 300,000 likes.

Gill’s first effort sees him stand next to a USMNT fan as he pokes fun at the nation’s ongoing scandal involving convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

‘He’s one of your own, one of your own, Jeffrey Epstein was one of your own,’ Gill sings.

The next chant shows the comedian taking a shot at the USA’s education system due to the high number of school shootings.

‘Stand up if your schools are safe! Stand up if your schools are safe!’ he sings to the tune of Go West by the Village People while standing in the middle of a group of USA fans.

Gill completes numerous other chants in the video, with another showing him taking the mickey out of the USA’s obesity epidemic.

‘You’re fat, and you know you are. You’re fat, and you know you are,’ Gill chants.

Many football fans found the clip hilarious.

‘My new favourite video,’ one person wrote on Instagram.

’10 out of 10, absolutely accurate and creative,’ another said.

‘I’m American and this is hilarious,’ another commenter wrote.

Gill’s effort comes after hundreds of Socceroos fans were recorded performing a chant about Donald Trump on the streets of Vancouver after the team’s World Cup win over Turkey.

The fans begin by singing, ‘Da da da da da da da da da da da/Turkey’s in the bin/In the bin, Turkey’s in the bin!’ to the tune of Give It Up by KC and the Sunshine Band as they march through the Canadian city.

They then switch to, ‘Aussie boys are on a bender/Donald Trump’s a sex offender.’

The original video on TikTok has been liked almost 90,000 times with more than 13,000 shares, and reposts on Instagram and X have gained about 6000 more likes.
