At the start, Gasly stole a place up the hill from Norris after the Briton lost some speed behind Piastri.

Meanwhile, Russell has not been punished for the potential false start – he’s been given an all-clear from the stewards.

This weekend is going from bad to worse for Russell, who has been noted by the stewards for a false start and being out of position on the grid.
