Evolving as an Employer of Choice in Mid Ulster

Hear from a range of speakers on how you can successfully implement positive changes to attract, retain and develop talent

Mid Ulster Labour Market Partnership is hosting an event designed to support local employers in attracting, creating and retaining top talent. 

Compere John Campbell (BBC) will open the event, followed by a welcome from the Chair of Mid Ulster District Council and a representative from the Department for Communities.

Event content 

  • Overview of key statistics of Mid Ulster’s Labour Market, highlighting key workforce challenges. 
  • Panel discussion exploring what it means to be an Employer of Choice in Mid Ulster. 
  • Interactive workshop designed to equip managers with practical tips and strategies to strengthen their ability to lead and support staff. 
  • Focus groups ‘Apprenticeships, HLAs & Graduates’ and ‘Upskilling’, with a short feedback session to highlight key concerns, skills gaps and barriers. 
  • Update on the work of the Mid Ulster Labour Market Partnership and how the Employer Toolkit can benefit businesses. 

There will also be a light breakfast and an opportunity for networking.
