Grants of up to £300 are available for events that celebrate and share Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s rich and diverse heritage.
Applications close at 5pm on Thursday 2 July 2026.
Who it is for
To be eligible for sponsorship, applicants must
- be a constituted group or organisation
- have a bank account with at least two signatories
- hold public liability insurance
- be located within the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area
Support you can get
European Heritage Open Days (EHOD) is an annual celebration of local architecture, history, culture and heritage.
EHOD 2026 will take place from Monday 7 September to Sunday 13 September 2026 under the theme ‘Heritage at Risk – Revive, Resist, Reimagine’.
Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is offering grants of up to £300 for events that celebrate and share the district’s rich and diverse heritage.
To be considered for support, events must
- relate to the EHOD 2026 theme and/or support the objectives of the Council’s Heritage Plan
- enhance public understanding, enjoyment of, and engagement with local heritage
- be free of charge and open to the public
- demonstrate clear public benefit
- take place between Monday 7 and Sunday 13 September 2026
- commit to being included in Council-supported promotional activity
