This fund supports young businesses to achieve further growth through new and innovative approaches
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Enterprise Fund has opened for applications.
The Enterprise Fund aims to support young businesses (less than two years old) achieve further growth through new and innovative approaches.
All types of businesses are eligible to apply but applications are particularly welcome from priority sectors advanced manufacturing, materials and engineering, construction, financial business and professional services, retail, tourism and hospitality, agri-food and sustainable energy.
Programme details
The Enterprise Fund offers financial support to young businesses, encouraging them to take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey, helping to innovate, upscale and expand their customer base outside local markets.
This may be funding towards activities such as a new piece of equipment, developing IT infrastructure, implementing a significant marketing campaign, and product and design development.
Programme criteria
- all applicant businesses and social enterprises must be within the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area and actively trading commercially
- all applicants must be trading for two years or less.
- all applicants must have a fit-for-purpose business plan
- all applicants must have a business bank (or other financial institution) account for the sole purpose of their business ie separate from personal finances
The closing date for this programme is midday on Monday 30 June 2025.
