This programme is aimed at early-stage businesses seeking growth support in Causeway Coast and Glens

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has opened applications to its Enterprise Fund, providing targeted support for early-stage businesses (less than two years old) based within the borough.

The fund is designed to support businesses to overcome barriers to growth and accelerate development through focused investment.

Who can apply

The programme is open to commercially trading businesses and social enterprises in all sectors that are

  • based within the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area
  • actively trading for less than two years
  • able to demonstrate a fit‑for‑purpose business plan
  • able to provide a business bank account (or account with another financial institution) used solely for business purposes, separate from personal finances

Applications are particularly welcomed from businesses operating within identified priority areas

  • advanced manufacturing, materials and engineering
  • construction
  • financial, business and professional services
  • retail
  • tourism and hospitality
  • agri-food
  • sustainable energy

What support is available?

The Enterprise Fund focuses on activity that helps businesses grow and strengthen their operations, including

  • new equipment
  • IT infrastructure improvements
  • product or design development
  • significant marketing initiatives

How to apply

Businesses can access the Enterprise Fund guidance information and application form online.

Applications close on Friday 5 June 2026 at noon.
