Ederson’s eight-year spell at Man City is set to come to an end after he reportedly agreed to join Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce.
The Brazilian goalkeeper was left on the bench on Sunday as City were beaten 2-1 by Brighton at the Amex courtesy of a dramatic winner from Brajan Gruda.
Ederson has been consistently linked with a move away from Manchester this summer, with speculation ramping up after Pep Guardiola started summer signing James Trafford for the club’s first three league games.
Galatasaray had initially emerged as a potential destination for the 32-year-old and made an approach last week that was rejected.
However, the club’s bitter rivals Fenerbahce have now hijacked the transfer and have agreed a deal worth around £12m, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Terms are said to have been agreed between the two clubs, with official confirmation of the move expected imminently.
