Super Bowl champion AJ Brown has vowed to catch the thief who stole his car and warned them: ‘I’m going to see about you, my boy’
Many of the world’s biggest sports stars have been targeted by criminals over recent months, with the likes of Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Luka Doncic all the victim of break-ins.
Eagles wide receiver Brown revealed on social media that his vehicle had been taken around 3:45am on Monday morning.
Brown sent a message to ‘whoever’ stole the car, offering not to go to the authorities if it is returned. But he also warned that he will soon find those responsible.
‘Dear Philly,’ Brown wrote on X. ‘To whoever stole my car last night, I’ll make a deal with you…
‘Bring back my car and I won’t press charges, or when I find you today, it’s going to be what it’s going to be… take it or leave it my guy.’

‘When I find you today, it’s going to be what it’s going to be,’ the receiver said on social media
Brown did not reveal the car’s model but he recently posted a picture from inside a Rolls Royce
Brown shed more light on the robbery with a short video recorded from inside another car. It was posted to his Instagram story. ‘Just bring the whip back, bro, and you can go on about your day,’ he said.
‘But if I find you, it’s going to be what it’s going to be. And I’m going to come in that interrogation room. I’m going to see about you, my boy. I’m on that…
‘You’re smooth with it, though. You pulled up at 3:42. You got up out of there at 3:45. You’re fast on your feet, real fast. I’m going to show you how fast I am with my feet. Real talk.
‘This going to get done today. So you might want to pull back off and drop that off. We know where you’re at, right now. Pull back up, bro.’
Brown did not reveal the make and model of the car but earlier this month he posted a picture from inside a Rolls Royce.
At the end of last year, the FBI sent a warning out to American professional sports leagues about crime organizations targeting athletes. Cops launched a multi-state investigation into a spate of robberies, many of which – according to the authorities – are the work of a sophisticated crime ring.
Mahomes and Kelce were among those to see their homes burglarized, while a New York Jets player was reportedly robbed at gunpoint.
Brown’s car theft comes a couple of months after he helped the Eagles win a second Super Bowl, scoring a touchdown in their dramatic win over the Chiefs.
He signed a three-year, $96million extension last year but there has been recent speculation that Brown could leave Philadelphia. Ahead of this week’s NFL draft, however, ESPN confirmed that the receiver would not be traded.
