Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown has been ruled out for this Sunday’s game against the NFC East rival New York Giants with a hamstring injury.
Brown, a former second-round pick, missed three straight practices this week after a game against the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday.
He worked out on the side on Thursday, but without taking any reps, Brown was left off the roster for this coming Sunday.
Brown has had something of a down year this season – catching under 30 passes for 395 yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, fellow star DeVonta Smith is leading the team with 38 catches for 504 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
This is Brown’s fourth season with the Eagles, having been drafted by the Tennessee Titans 51st overall in 2019.
