Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was ejected in the final minute of the team’s season-ending loss.
The Warriors’ season came to an end on Friday night when they suffered a 111-96 defeat to the Phoenix Suns in the NBA’s play-in tournament.
And Green decided to go out with a bang. The veteran’s night ended in ejection when he and Suns star Devin Booker came to blows.
The Golden State forward already had fouled out of Friday’s game at the 1:06 mark in the fourth quarter when he sent Booker to the line with a tough foul.
However, the heated on-court exchange spiraled out of control. Even with Green subbed out over the foul, the pair kept jawing during a subsequent dead ball.
Crew chief Scott Foster slapped both with technicals but even that wasn’t enough to stop tensions from boiling over.

Leaving the court, Green egged on the antagonistic Phoenix crowd by mimicking ejections
Green, now on the bench, and Booker kept up their fiery exchange of words, forcing Foster to send both of them to the showers.
As he headed to the locker room, Green leaned into the moment, egging on the antagonistic Phoenix crowd by mimicking ejections and waving his arms up and down.
It capped a challenging night for the veteran, who finished with more ejections than points. He registered just five points and six assists.
Jalen Green scored 36 points, Booker added 20 and the Phoenix Suns locked down Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
The Suns took the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference playoffs and will face the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday in Game 1. The Warriors’ season is over.
Green shot 14 of 20 from the field, including 8 of 14 on 3-pointers. Jordan Goodwin scored 19 points, had nine rebounds and was a menace on defense with six steals.
The 38-year-old Curry couldn’t get many clean looks and finished with 17 points on 4-of-16 shooting. Brandin Podziemski led the Warriors with 23 points.
