Calling all night owls: Disneyland is rolling out a limited-time evening ticket designed to offer a more affordable way to experience the parks.
The new Evening Ticket provides access to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park during nighttime hours on select dates this summer.
The offer, announced by the resort, started sales Tuesday and is priced at $59 for guests ages 3 and older. Each ticket allows entry to one park and requires a reservation in advance, subject to availability.
The promotion is valid for visits between July 12 and August 5 and is limited to Sundays through Wednesdays. Guests with the Evening Ticket will be able to enter Disneyland Park beginning at 7 p.m., while Disney California Adventure Park will begin admitting guests at 5 p.m.
Once inside, visitors can stay through each park’s closing time, giving them about five hours of evening access during the height of summer operations.
Under typical summer schedules, Disneyland Park remains open until midnight, while Disney California Adventure Park generally closes around 10 p.m.
“Enjoy an unforgettable night filled with dazzling entertainment, thrilling attractions, delicious dining and so much more. Plus, join in the excitement of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration!” a Disneyland news release reads.
A standard one-day, one-park Disneyland ticket ranges from $98 to $214 for children ages 3 to 9 and from $104 to $224 for guests ages 10 and up. Prices vary by date under a demand-based system that uses tiered pricing, with lower costs on less busy weekdays and higher prices during peak weekends and holidays.
The final day of the Evening Ticket offer lines up with the end of the summer blackout period for Disneyland’s Imagine Magic Key pass, during which holders of the lowest-tier annual pass are blocked from entering the parks.
Priced at $599 and limited to Southern California residents, the Imagine Magic Key is the most affordable pass option, but it comes with more than 200 blackout dates, which is more than any other tier.
