Dina Manzo’s daughter, Alexia Iannou, didn’t hold back when calling out “weirdo” Bethenny Frankel for neglecting to credit her shoe business, Nou, on social media.
“Bethenny Frankel is a weirdo,” Iannou, 29, opened her Instagram Reel on Friday after Frankel shared a Reel of her own, showing off her outfit for her Sports Illustrated Social Club appearance Friday.
“I sent her a pair of shoes from Nou almost a year ago because I look up to her. She’s an entrepreneur, [in the] Bravo universe like me, and she’s been on ‘Shark Tank.’”
“She didn’t tag us after wearing the shoes multiple times online — which, okay, that happens. But then, today she posted a video that’s going viral and a bunch of people are asking where the shoes are,” she continued.
“And instead of linking them, she linked a dupe and with an affiliate link. I guess she’s got to get that bag in some sort of way.”
Via her Instagram Story, Frankel posted a link to a pair of similar heels from Black Suede Studio available at Bloomingdales for $345.
“So, she got the shoes for free from a woman-founded brand — mine — and then she made money sending her followers somewhere else,” Iannou recapped for her followers.
She closed the video, calling Frankel a “weirdo” once more and reiterating that the reality star’s shoes were Nou.
Even Iannou’s mom called out the fellow “Real Housewives” star with her own post blasting Frankel for promoting the dupe shoes.
“WOW BETHENNY WOW!!” she wrote over a screenshot from Frankel’s Instagram Story. “So odd of you to post a dupe of your GIFTED shopnou shoes instead of giving a young woman entrepreneur the credit. You wear them often so we know you like them???”
The Skinnygirl founder seemingly hit back at Iannou’s claims with another post to her Instagram on Friday where she showed off her full “OOTD” and gave her followers the details — which included a shout out to Nou.
After receiving a significant amount of love online, Iannou decided to launch the shoes Frankel wore as a limited time pre-order.
The black satin mules are currently listed for $375.
