Oldham Athletic have signed former Hull City, Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland midfielder Corry Evans on a deal until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old former Northern Ireland international was a free agent after his short-term deal with Bradford City came to an end earlier this month.
Evans could make his debut for the Latics, who are fifth in the National League but have three games in hand on table-toppers Forest Green, in Saturday’s home game against Aldershot.
“We’re in a good position in the league so I’m coming in at a good time, the quality in the squad is there to see, so this is an exciting project,” he told the club website., external
