Community Grants Scheme 2026/27 – Groups and Events

Funding for community and voluntary groups undertaking activities where there is a benefit to the Mid and East Antrim area.

The deadline is 5pm on Wednesday 31 March 2027.

Who it is for

The scheme is open to eligible constituted community or voluntary groups within the Mid and East Antrim area.

Support you can get

Grant categories available through this scheme are

Grants for Groups

  • New Community Projects Maximum grant 75% up to £1,000
  • Public Liability Insurance Maximum grant 75% up to £300
  • Equipment Maximum grant 75% up to £1,000
  • Village Christmas Light Maximum grant 100% up to £1,500 for Large Villages or 100% up to £750 for Small Villages            
  • Other Distinctive Projects Maximum grant 75% up to £750 for projects in the Borough (£500 for outside the Borough)
  • Civic Representation Maximum grant 100% up to £400 per person (£1,600 per group)
  • Developmental Projects and Training Maximum grant 75% up to £1,000

Grants for Events                                                                   

  • Large Events Maximum grant 75% up to £6,000
  • Medium Events Maximum grant 75% up to £3,000
  • Small Events Maximum grant 75% up to £1,500

  • Mid and East Antrim Borough Council
