Funding for projects focused on community facility upgrades, event infrastructure, and sports pitch maintenance/development. 

The closing date for applications is midday on Tuesday 30 June 2026.

Who it is for

Community groups based within the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council area that are properly constituted, hold appropriate financial accounts, and public liability insurance are eligible to apply.

Support you can get

The Community Facilities Fund is a grant funding programme designed to support projects that enhance existing community facilities, aiming to increase accessibility, social cohesion, engagement opportunities and participation. 

It funds repairs, capital works, and digital improvements to community facilities.

The funding amount can be up to £15,000.

Grant workshops have been scheduled to support potential applicants.  As this is a competitive scheme, attendance is strongly encouraged. 

Workshop details

  • Monday 15 June 2026, 7pm, Enler Community Centre
  • Tuesday 16 June 2026, 1030am, Ballymacash Community Centre
  • Monday 22 June 2026 at 7pm, Online (link will be provided at time of registration)
