Nicolas Jackson’s agent Ali Barat is giving ‘CPR’ to his collapsed move to Bayern Munich, with the striker’s camp trying to bring the Bundesliga club back to the table.
Chelsea were informed on Sunday by Bayern that they would not be spending their deadline day trying to convince their Premier League counterparts to let him leave.
That followed Chelsea cancelling their loan and option agreement with Bayern as they needed cover for Liam Delap following his hamstring injury in their 2-0 Premier League win over Fulham.
However, Bayern are now believed to have reopened talks with Chelsea open to sanctioning Jackson’s exit so long as the terms are favourable.
It comes with Chelsea having also asked Sunderland if they can recall Marc Guiu – just 26 days after they sent him there on loan.
Chelsea had spent the last month searching for a new home for Jackson after bringing in Delap and Joao Pedro amid a significant summer of trading.

Jackson was ordered back to west London by the Blues after Liam Delap suffered an injury on Saturday
Delap’s injury, described as ‘not good’ by Maresca, could have left them short in the striker position.
They can also use Tyrique George, Pedro Neto, Cole Palmer and Estevao Willian up top, but none are true No 9s.
Rather than being sent to train with the ‘bomb squad’ at Cobham, Jackson had been training with Maresca’s first team over the last month in case he stayed.
Since joining the Blues in the summer of 2023 Jackson has made 81 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 30 goals.
Should he complete a move to Bayern Jackson will join fellow former Premier League stars including Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Diaz in the Bavarian capital.
