Haley Cavinder has married Dallas Cowboys star Jake Ferguson in a glitzy wedding in Miami over the weekend.
Influencer and former college basketball star Cavinder has been dating Ferguson, who last year signed a new $52million contract with Cowboys, since 2023.
They got engaged in April 2025 and had first connected over social media – although the newlyweds continue to debate who actually made the first move.
‘She liked a couple of my pictures, the typical social media thing, and then I slid into her DMs,’ Ferguson told GQ in a post-wedding interview.
‘She liked all my pictures! She was living down in Miami at the time, and my parents live in Fort Myers Beach. We had talked on the phone a little bit, and I was like, “Hey, I’m going to be down in Florida. Would you like to grab dinner and do something?”
‘It was pretty immediate for me. I was like, yeah I want to marry her.’

Ferguson and Cavinder tied the knot over the weekend in a ceremony held in Florida
Cavinder’s twin sister, Hanna, shared an emotional message to her sister on social media after the wedding, writing: ‘From sharing a womb to standing beside you on your wedding day, being your twin is the greatest gift God has ever given me.
‘Watching you marry the love of your life was a moment I’ll always cherish. Forever my soulmate.’
The couple decided that they would not allow kids at their wedding party so that the 27-year-old Ferguson’s high-profile teammates could let loose a bit more.
‘I knew for a fact my little cousins would be asking Dak Prescott for a picture,’ Ferguson said of his teammate, the Cowboys quarterback.
‘I just didn’t want that to happen, because I wanted him to let loose a little bit.’
Prescott was also set to get married earlier this year in Lake Como, Italy but his ex-fiancee Sarah-Jane Ramos called the ceremony off after her bachelorette party.
It was later claimed that the couple had been working through allegations of infidelity around Prescott.
Ferguson also bought rolexes and custom golf putters for his groomsmen. His best man was his older brother, Joe.

As for Cavinder, 25, she has forged a career in influencing after stepping away from college basketball with the Miami Hurricanes alongside her twin sister, Hanna.
Recently, they both walked the runway at a Sports Illustrated event in Florida alongside another NFL WAG in Claire Kittle, who is married to the San Francisco tight end George.
Ferguson and the Cowboys endured a difficult 2025 campaign, even if the tight end was one of the better performers on the team.
They failed to make the postseason, finishing with a 7-9 record in the NFC East.
They will start the new 2026 season with a hugely anticipated Sunday night showdown against divisional rivals New York Giants on September 13.
