Equity-free grants to support women-led deep tech SMEs
Women TechEU is a European Union project that supports early-stage deep tech start-ups led by women. It provides targeted funding and a tailored business development plan to empower female entrepreneurs and foster gender diversity in the tech industry.
The project rolled out two calls for applications in 2024. Its third call is currently open and closes in March 2025.
Successful applicants can receive a €75,000 non-dilutive grant, and access to a personalised business development programme, including mentoring, coaching, targeted training and more.
To apply, start-ups must
- be women-led
- be early-stage
- be in the deep tech sector
- have raised less than €1 million in equity
They must also be based in an EU member state or Horizon Europe associated country.
Applications for the third call close on 17 March 2025.
