Practical AI governance workshops across Northern Ireland

Businesses can sign up for a series of hands-on workshops in May 2026 to learn how to use artificial intelligence (AI) safely and put clear governance in place.

Delivered by the Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Centre (AICC), the sessions are designed for businesses with little or no technical background. They focus on managing AI risks and building practical tools that can be used immediately.

What the workshops cover

During the workshop, you will

  • understand what responsible AI means in practice
  • identify common risks when using AI in your business
  • map where AI is used and assess risk through an AI register
  • define roles and responsibilities for AI use
  • develop a responsible AI policy tailored to your business
  • create clear rules for how AI can and cannot be used

By the end of the session, you will have

  • a responsible AI policy
  • an AI register
  • clear accountability structures
  • a set of core rules for AI use

Workshop dates and locations

You can register to attend one of the following sessions

The workshops are interactive and include opportunities to network with other businesses. Refreshments will be provided.
