Brighton 0-1 Arsenal
18 mins: This has been a good response to falling behind by Brighton.
They’ve had a lot of the ball and work it well into the box, finding Rutter who lets fly.
He’s unlucky to see his shot blocked by a teammate, hitting Kadioglu who was sliding across the floor.
That was travelling towards the bottom corner as well.

Brighton 0-1 Arsenal
13 mins: After what could have easily been a nightmare start for Arsenal who would have fallen behind if not for Gabriel on the line, the league leaders now have their early goal and are in a position to take full control of this game now.
You feel Saka was just as surprised as everyone to see his shot go through Verbruggen.

GOAL! Brighton 0-1 Arsenal (Saka, 9′)
It’s an absolute disaster for Bart Verbruggen!
Bukayo Saka, wearing the armband tonight, breaks the deadlock but there will be huge question marks over the Brighton keeper, who just lets the shot go through his legs.
It was nevertheless a trademark effort from Saka from the right-hand side, who proves if you don’t shoot, you don’t score.

Mikel Arteta speaks on tonight’s opposition
“[We won] against two very good teams and in two very competitive games,” Arteta said, reflecting on wins against Chelsea and Tottenham ahead of tonight’s meeting with Brighton.
“We wanted to turn things around after the feeling that we had with that draw [against Wolves] and we’ve certainly done that. Now we have to do it today.
“Brighton are a team that really stretches you. They are so comfortable on the ball. They do their processes in the first phase so well, they are so comfortable and they have very good players as well. So we know that for every team, when you play Brighton, it’s going to be a really tough night.”
