Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks are heading back to the National Championship Game, just 12 months after winning March Madness in 2024.
South Carolina beat Texas with relative ease in the Final Four match-up, eventually running out 74-57 winners after pulling away in the second half.
And the victory moves legendary coach Staley just one win away from creating more history with the program, as she eyes her fourth March Madness title.
Staley was a six-time WNBA All-Star during her own incredible playing career, and she has led her team to three national titles as a coach, in 2017, 2022 and 2024.
Te-Hina Paopao top-scored for the Gamecocks in the win over Texas in Tampa on Friday night, picking up 14 points, 1 assist and 3 rebounds.
