The Eagles are releasing cornerback Darius Slay, according to a report.
Slay, 34, started every game in the postseason and ultimately played a pivotal role in helping Philadelphia beat the Chiefs 40-22.
But according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Super Bowl LIX winners are parting ways with the defensive back.
If Slay is designated to be officially released after June 1, the Eagles will save $4.3million in cap space.
Slay signed a three-year, $42million deal with the Eagles in 2023, with $23million guaranteed at signing.
