Days before he embarks on a new coaching challenge at UNC, Bill Belichick has listed his Nantucket cottage for $3.9million.
Belichick purchased the home – not the only Nantucket property he owns – in 2014 for $2.45million while he was dating his longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday.
However, as he settles into life in North Carolina with his new partner Jordon Hudson, Belichick is looking to move on from the cottage, according to a listing from Coldwell Banker.
As quoted by Realtor.com, the Coldwell Banker listing says that the home has a ‘vaulted living room with stone fireplace and views of the beach and conservation land.
‘The cottage exudes old world charm with wooden walls, built-in bookshelves, a window with diamond mullions, and many nooks and crannies while still offering modern amenities for today’s living,’ the listing continues.
Overall, the home boasts three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the coach is reportedly building another home down the street from the cottage he is attempting to sell.

The former Patriots coach has long held ties to Nantucket, and also paid $4.8million for a 2,854-square-foot Nantucket home last year.
He also previously purchased a home on the island for $4.6million in 2006, though the home went to his ex-wife Debby Clarke when they divorced that year.
However, it’s clear that he has warm feelings for the island nonetheless.
‘The island is spectacular,’ he told N Magazine in 2017. ‘The people are great, fishing, bike paths, the lighthouses, the beach, the history – I mean it’s got it all.’
Belichick, who began coaching the Patriots in 2000, also bought a home in
Massachusetts in 2006 and also owns a condo in Florida, which he purchased in 2009.
The condo, which he bought for $1.6million, is now worth an estimated $3.7million according to Realtor.
It’s not clear where Belichick and Hudson have been staying in North Carolina.

Hudson and Belichick’s relationship has been in the spotlight since it was revealed last year
Hudson, 24, and Belichick, 73, were seen relaxing on his boat and also going on a bike ride on the island, where Hudson has begun to make her presence felt on as well.
Hudson and Holliday clashed at a Christmas party last year, as Holliday reportedly confronted Hudson for attending a party DJ-ed by her two daughters.
Citing an incident report filed by an employee at the party’s venue, Dreamland, TMZ reported that Holiday believed Hudson’s presence at the party was ‘inappropriate,’ and that she threatened her friend, fellow pageant contestant Melissa Sapini.
However, the pair reportedly ran into each other once again in Nantucket at a charity event earlier this month – without incident.
On Monday, Belichick will take charge of UNC for the first time as the Tar Heels host TCU.
