Beverley Callard has revealed the touching gesture that her husband Jon McEwan made as she prepares to undergo radiotherapy following her breast cancer diagnosis in an update on Monday (4 May).

The Coronation Street actor, who revealed she was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in February, shared that she had “great news” after further tests last week.

In her latest video update, Callard shared how her husband had redecorated one of the rooms in their home ahead of her upcoming treatment.

“How spoiled am I? I could not ask for anything more, could I… We should all think about partners, if you’re lucky enough to have one go through this with you,” she told her followers.
