Bethenny Frankel clapped back at Dina Manzo’s “cry baby” daughter Alexia Iannou after she called the “Real Housewives” star a “weirdo” for not crediting Iannou’s Nou shoe brand in her recent social media post.

Frankel addressed the situation in a Friday TikTok where she told her followers that her team posted a fit check but tagged a different shoe brand in her Instagram Story since the Nou shoes were sold out.

“The audience gets frustrated when they can’t buy something immediately. Why would I wear and talk about it if they can’t buy it?” Frankel explained.

“Whining and being a crybaby about something that didn’t go your way in business means you’re not a real business person,” Frankel told Iannou in her video. Bethenny Frankel/TikTok

The Bravolebrity went on to emphasize that she has no “obligation” to “link, like, use, wear, buy, tag,” any brand who sends her gift items.

“The business lesson is: there are other lovely things on this person’s site and there are about a hundred brands that will watch this video and will message her to tell her how much product I move — how many Sprinkle cookies for Melissa Gorga, how many dresses for Amy Brooke, how many pairs of jeans for Guess — I move a lot of product because I don’t bulls–t,” Frankel continued.

“So, playing the short game and whining and being a crybaby about something that didn’t go your way in business means you’re not a real business person.”

Iannou first took aim at Frankel with a pointed Instagram Reel, pictured here, calling her a “weirdo” after Frankel posted a video wearing the shoes and later tagging a different brand on her Instagram Story. Lexi Ioannou/Instagram
“I sent her a pair of shoes from Nou almost a year ago because I look up to her,” Iannou explained in her video. Lexi Ioannou/Instagram

“You have a lot to learn because I would have worn all the shoes on your site and you would have sold thousands of pairs and made hundreds of thousands of dollars,” she added before sharing that she’ll be exercising her choice to not promote.

Frankel’s video comes shortly after she got called out by “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo and her daughter via Instagram for failing to tag Iannou’s business in her post showing off her outfit from her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit social club appearance Friday.

“I sent her a pair of shoes from Nou almost a year ago because I look up to her. She’s an entrepreneur, [in the] Bravo universe like me, and she’s been on ‘Shark Tank,’” Iannou explained in her video.

“She didn’t tag us after wearing the shoes multiple times online — which, okay, that happens. But then, today she posted a video that’s going viral and a bunch of people are asking where the shoes are,” she continued.

In Frankel’s original video (a screenshot of which can be seen above), she wore the black mule heels with a white polka dot dress and lip-synced to Jessie J’s “Price Tag.” bethenny frankel/ instagram

Iannou continued: “And instead of linking them, she linked a dupe and with an affiliate link. I guess she’s got to get that bag in some sort of way.”

“So, she got the shoes for free from a woman-founded brand — mine — and then she made money sending her followers somewhere else,” Iannou recapped for her followers

Iannou’s mom also called out “so odd” Frankel for not properly crediting her daughter’s business under her post with a pointed message shared to her Instagram Story.
She also explained that she linked to a similar pair of heels on her Instagram Story, pictured here, because the Nou shoes were sold out and her “audience gets frustrated when they can’t buy something immediately.” Lexi Ioannou/ instagram

Manzo made sure to show her support for her daughter with a fiery message to Frankel shared via her Instagram Story.

“WOW BETHENNY WOW!!” she wrote over a screenshot from Frankel’s Instagram Story. “So odd of you to post a dupe of your GIFTED shopnou shoes instead of giving a young woman entrepreneur the credit. You wear them often so we know you like them???”

Frankel eventually gave Nou its credit in another Friday Instagram post where she gave a full “OOTD” description.
