Real Madrid’s shocking week

Real Madrid are combustible at the best of times but they’ve rally taken the cake this week.

First-team stars Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni have both been hit with half-million euro fines after a training ground altercation that saw the former hospitalised.

Valverde reportedly briefly lost consciousness after receiving a cut on a table during the confrontation.

It was also reported this week that Antonio Rudiger ‘slapped’ his team-mate Alvaro Carreras.

Then, just to spice things up even further, Alvaro Arbeloa is reportedly set to leave in the summer – that seemed likely anyway – and Jose Mourinho has been strongly linked with a return.

Madness!
