Baker Mayfield has accused new Atlanta Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski of treating him ‘like a piece of garbage’ during their time in Cleveland together.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback responded to a user on X who claimed that he ‘failed’ under Stefanski, who was hired by the Falcons at the weekend just weeks after being fired as head coach of the Cleveland Browns, before being traded to the Carolina Panthers in 2021.
Mayfield replied: ‘Failed is quite the reach pal. Still waiting on a text/call from [Stefanski] after I got shipped off like a piece of garbage. Can’t wait to see you twice a year, Coach.’
