Kemi Badenoch has blasted Sir Keir Starmer as a “man who is not in control” during a fiery Prime Minister’s Questions exchange on Wednesday (29 April).

The Conservative leader claimed that she saw the Prime Minister “punch the speaker’s chair” following a heated conversation with Sir Lindsay Hoyle earlier this month.

“This is not a man who is in control,” she said, before accusing Sir Keir of “broken promises on taxes, U-turn after U-turn after U-turn”.

The prime minister responded by making a jab at Ms Badenoch’s party losing MPs. “It’s now even smaller than when she started as leader”.
