While the Diamonds tear up the competition on the court, fans have raised concerns over the Aussie netball kit.
The dress fit has left the players spending so much time adjusting their attire that fans on social media have exploded with their frustrations.
It is important to note that fans have actually gone to bat for the players, levelling criticism at the makers of the uniforms and the length of what they are wearing over their compression shorts.
The situation is so bad that one onlooker took to social media to question whether the manufacturers had actually run out of material before finishing the uniforms.
‘Such a shame Diamonds ran out of material before they could finish their dresses. Some of the girls look uncomfortable af #CWGNetball,’ BigRedNetball posted on X.
And they weren’t the only one to notice the players’ apparent difficulties with their uniforms.

With many onlookers questioning whether they had run out of material before finishing the dresses
‘the Aussie dress situation is not great, like, did you offend the designer in some way? or is it the case that it was just designed by someone that doesn’t understand what the game entails? Netty twitter do your thing, I wanna know,’ a user under the name nettyjane added.
‘These dimes dresses look uncomfortable #cwgnetball I heard they were too long so players got them hemmed. But there’s no give without the extra fabric.. should of cut a slit on the side panels,’ another posted.
Diamonds goaler Sophie Garbin is among the star players forced to continually pull her dress down over her shorts.
Garbin though said she is not fazed by the constant fiddling with her uniform even though the team are looking at possible solutions.
‘I feel like as a netballer, I’m always tugging my dress down,’ Garbin said.
‘Obviously, we’ve noticed lots of the comments from other people.
‘But I feel like on the court, we’re used to dresses coming up and down, and I don’t think it’s affecting our performance, so it’s okay.
‘We might have a look what we can do in the next couple of days but we love our dress.
‘We love what Valour have done with the pattern and the fabric and everything, so we’re really proud to wear it.’
In any event, it certainly seems that the uniform issues aren’t having an impact on their performances on the court.
The defending gold medallists have scored 165 goals in their two games so far at the Commonwealth Games.
And they eased past what was expected to be a tough task against England 66-47.
Much of which was owed to superstar Sophie Garbin who notched 41 goals from just 42 attempts.
They will now turn their attention to Malawi on Tuesday before taking on South Africa on Wednesday.
Australia then wrap up their group stage campaign against Northern Ireland on Thursday before a potential semi-final on Saturday and the final on Sunday.
From their opening two performances it would appear that the Diamonds are well on course to retain their gold medal.
