Aston Villa have stepped up their interest in Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho.
After enquiries during conversations over Morgan Rogers’ £117m sale, Villa have proposed a loan for the Argentine with obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.
Chelsea have been holding out for a permanent sale around £40m as Manchester United are also due a sell-on percentage.
Roma have also offered a loan with options for Garnacho who was of interest to Villa before he left Manchester United last summer.
Villa remain keen to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea and are monitoring developments with Crysencio Summerville at West Ham.
The Hammers have a £39m offer plus add-ons on the table from Roma and have added interest from Al Hilal.
