Arsenal and Tottenham are in the race to sign a Bayern Munich star, according to a report.
The player has expressed his desire to leave the Bundesliga giants this summer, as his playing time has withered under Vincent Kompany, making just 11 starts in the league this season.
The 28-year-old joined Bayern on loan in 2015, before signing permanently in 2017, and has made 329 appearances in red.
Now, 19 trophies later, Kingsley Coman is eyeing a move away from Munich, as per Sky Sports Germany.
While multiple clubs are vying for the winger’s signature, Arsenal and Tottenham are believed to be the frontrunners in England.
Elsewhere, Saudi Arabian clubs are taking Coman’s situation seriously and are already planning to send representatives to Munich to negotiate.
Arsenal and Tottenham are two clubs that are reportedly interested in signing Kingsley Coman

The Gunners are believed to be the ‘most concrete option’ out of the two north London rivals
Tottenham’s chances of signing the 28-year-old may be hindered by his high wage demands
Leroy Sane’s contract extension has paved the way for Coman’s exit. The former Man City star has been Kompany’s preferred option at left wing, while Michael Olise often starts on the right for Bayern.
Coman has averaged just 45 minutes per game in the Bundesliga and is seemingly targeting more regular playing time.
The Frenchman has scored six goals and provided four assists over 1598 minutes in all competitions this season – roughly a goal contribution every 160 minutes.
Tottenham are interested in Coman but are currently in a waiting position due to his high salary demands.
In January, it was reported that Arsenal were offered Coman, but the club were unsure whether or not he was worth the undisclosed fee that Bayern valued him at.
If they are able to get a deal over the line this summer, Coman would be Arsenal’s first signing under new sporting director Andrea Berta, following Edu’s exit from the Emirates last November.
It was believed that Arteta’s side were considering several options for the role, such as Dan Ashworth, Roberto Olabe, Thiago Scuro and former midfielder Tomas Rosicky.
Edu was heavily criticised over the last few years for not signing a proper No 9, but Coman’s signing would hardly solve that issue.
Arsenal were offered Coman in January but were unsure he was worth Bayern’s asking price
Coman began his career at PSG’s academy but made just two appearances for the first team between 2012 and 2014.
He bounced between PSG B and their senior squad for some time before securing a move to Juventus.
However, Coman once again struggled for game time in Serie A, making just 15 appearances over two years.
He then secured his move to Bayern, where he has been a reliable starter for almost a decade.
Despite limited playing time early in his career, Coman has won a staggering 26 trophies in 13 years as a professional.
