Arsenal made it three wins out of three in the Champions League on Tuesday night with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid.
After a goalless first half, the Gunners fired themselves to victory with four goals in 14 minutes.
Gabriel opened the scoring with a header from Declan Rice’s free-kick. Gabriel Martinelli doubled their lead with a curling effort before Victor Gyokeres scored a brace.
Daily Mail Sport’s ISAAN KHAN was at the Emirates Stadium to run the rule over Mikel Arteta’s triumphant side.
ARSENAL (4-3-3)
DAVID RAYA: 6.5
Moment of madness on 25 minutes where he was tackled outside his goal, which nearly resulted in Julian Alvarez scoring into an empty net. Alvarez later rattled his bar on 49 minutes.
JURRIEN TIMBER: 7
Reliable as usual. Made some good attacking passes and crosses. Makes the game look easy.

WILLIAM SALIBA: 6.5
Solid positioning throughout. Needed to be with Alvarez prowling around.
GABRIEL: 7
Occasionally caught on the backfoot but when he was, Gabriel often recovered. His physicality often saves him. Opened the scoring with a set-piece header.
MYLES LEWIS-SKELLY: 7.5
He doesn’t get that many starts these days because of Riccardo Calafiori, but the youngster stepped up once again. Great assist for Gabriel Martinelli. Defensively strong.

MARTIN ZUBIMENDI: 8.5
A clinic by the Spaniard in the middle. Often in the right place at the right time and made use of his timely interceptions. Only downside was his yellow card which sees him miss Arsenal’s next Champions League game.
DECLAN RICE: 7.5
Had a shot go into the ground and over the bar on five minutes. Would have wanted more impact in the middle – yet his free-kick resulted in Gabriel’s headed goal. And then his corner later on garnered a Viktor Gyokeres goal.
EBERECHI EZE: 6.5
Looked promising early on, striking the bar with a deflected effort. Had good feet in tight spaces.
Eberechi Eze had some good feet in tight spaces and was unlucky not to score in the first half
BUKAYO SAKA: 6.5
Often double or triple-teamed by the opposition. Played a good cross for Gabriel Martinelli, who struck it home but was offside.
VIKTOR GYOKERES: 7.5
A display full of energy and will – and got his goals. The crowd appreciated the striker’s drive, as they roared him on. His toe-poked effort on 53 minutes was snuffed out in the area, but he got his chances later on, the ball fortuitously rolling in off a defender’s leg and then a tap-in off a corner.
GABRIEL MARTINELLI: 7.5
Came alive in the second half after tapping in Saka’s first-half cross where he was offside. He won the free-kick which Gabriel scored from, and later struck himself.
