In his final press conference before being sacked as Liverpool manager, Arne Slot admitted ‘he had not been perfect’ as the defending champions slumped over the line.
Asked after his side’s 1-1 draw with Brentford on the final day of the Premier League whether there was anything he would have done differently throughout the season, Slot accepted he had regrets.
“Not every decision can be the right one,” he said. “So it would be stupid for me to sit here and say all the decisions I’ve made were the right ones.
