The games just keep on coming.
Today we have the final set of round of 16 ties before the first break of the tournament tomorrow. I know, it’s going to feel weird, isn’t it?
We start what is a blockbuster of a day with the defending champions Argentina taking on Egypt, who have made this stage of the World Cup for the first time in their history.
It’s a classic favourites vs underdogs battle which everyone believes will only go one way. However, after what we saw Cape Verde do to Argentina in the last round, the Pharaohs are sure to feel inspired.
This is not a foregone conclusion, that’s for sure.
What is for sure, though, is that we are in for another belting evening of World Cup action. I, for one, can’t wait for it to get going.
So, without further ado, let’s get this show on the road.
