Reckon Argentina are playing in Dallas today?

I mean, it’s not like everywhere you look there are groups of supporters rocking their Lionel Messi shirts, which gives it away. Nah, never…

Yep, Messi-mania has swept like a storm from Kansas City to Dallas. Everywhere you look around the stadium and in the city, there are droves of fans wearing Argentina shirts sporting his name. It’s actually crazy.

They are all here in the hope of seeing him make history tonight, as he seeks to become the outright all-time World Cup goalscoring record holder.

Oh, and also he, of course, wants to lead the holders to a second straight win and a place in the knockout stages. Team above everything, and all.

It could be a historic day here in Dallas, and I, for one, can’t wait to guide you through all the action.

It’s going to be one hell of a ride, so let’s hop on it!
