WNBA superstar Angel Reese has enjoyed a meteoric rise to the top of her craft in both sports and fashion – and she’s not shy about telling you all about it.
Reese was a college basketball superstar with LSU and is now ripping up the WNBA with the Chicago Sky.
Away from the hardwood, she is also now no stranger to the catwalk, last week making her debut with Victoria’s Secret – and stealing the show in the process.
On Saturday, she took to X to brag about her wild journey to the top, writing: ‘I really used to work at Smash Burger & now i’m a VS model AHAHHA.’
The post has quickly racked up over 1 million views, seemingly inspiring others with her remarkable journey from broke college kid to multimillionaire.
Last week, the Chicago Sky basketball player was one of a number of famous faces to walk the runway and left little to the imagination with her racy outfit during the brand’s high-profile ‘Wings Reveal’.

Days later, Reese spoke out about her wild journey from Smashburger to the catwalk in NYC
Reese strolled down the catwalk twice and claimed ‘it was destined for me’ during an interview before the show began.
‘This is already for me. I’m so happy to be sitting in this room with so many amazing models and women. The team that put this all together has been amazing. I’m so excited.’
Reese said she hired a modeling coach to ‘perfect my walk’. ‘I walk, sleep, hoop,’ she said. ‘And I hoop, sleep, walk.’
The 23-year-old was joined by Olympic gymnast Suni Lee, who also graced the runway with her presence along the Brooklyn waterfront.
A number of other high-profile names were also in attendance in the Big Apple, including Madison Beer – the girlfriend of Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert – Gigi Hadid, Karol G and Missy Elliott.
Reese has just concluded her second season in the WNBA, but she was unable to properly renew her rivalry with Caitlin Clark due to her opponent’s injury struggles throughout the year.

The season also ended on a sour note for the Bayou Barbie, with the team once again missing out on the playoffs. Their 10-34 record saw the Sky finish last in the Eastern Conference.
And Reese also missed the final few games after giving an explosive interview to the Chicago Tribune, hitting out at the way the team was being run and hinting she could leave.
‘I’m not settling for the same s*** we did this year,’ she said. ‘We have to get good players. We have to get great players.
‘That’s a non-negotiable for me. We can’t settle for what we have this year.’
