Instagram queen Tammy Hembrow has stepped out with Geelong golden boy Bailey Smith – just days after claiming she was happily single following her shock split from husband Matthew Zukowski.
Two months after her break–up with the Love Island star, the 31–year–old fitness mogul was spotted cosying up to Smith during a lunch date on the Gold Coast on Saturday – with the long–haired midfielder flying in from Melbourne just to see her.
The Cats’ new recruit, 24, was riding high after helping his team thrash Essendon at GMHBA Stadium on Friday night. By Saturday morning, he was on a flight to Brisbane for his secret weekend rendezvous with Hembrow.
Smith didn’t skimp on their date, taking her out for a swanky meal at Pan–Asian hotspot Rick Shores at Burleigh Heads, where the pair were anything but discreet.
Hembrow – braless, of course – turned heads in a semi-sheer cropped tank top which she teamed with baggy jeans, white heels and a $5,000 Chanel Boy Bag.
Smith – his code’s most eligible bachelor – dressed down for the occasion in denim and a blue polo shirt and let his signature Tarzan-like mane of blond hair flow freely.

But it was upon his return to Melbourne Airport that Smith made a telling remark that hinted at a deeper connection with the Insta–famous mother of three.

When approached for comment on the photos of Hembrow and Smith, Zukowski told a reporter: ‘I heard about this and it’s not a nice feeling.
‘We only broke up eight weeks ago. I just don’t understand how someone can move on so quickly. It’s been 48 days and I’m still trying to work out how I feel as a person after committing in marriage to someone. I’m trying to focus on myself and heal.’
The FIFO fling comes just days after Hembrow addressed her relationship status.

Zukowski was first out the gate, telling his followers in a sombre Instagram post that the decision was not taken lightly.
‘It’s with a heavy heart I share that Tammy and I have decided to separate,’ he began.
‘Both of us have struggled with making this decision, however we need to do what is right for ourselves and her three children.

‘This wasn’t a decision we took lightly. Our time together will always be cherished and never forgotten.
‘We appreciate everyone’s support and space at this time as we navigate the split.’
Hembrow addressed the split shortly afterwards in an emotional TikTok video.
She made it clear it wasn’t a trial separation – she was filing for divorce.
‘I don’t want to get into the details and I want to be sensitive to everyone involved,’ she told her fans in the tearful clip.
‘Obviously, when you marry someone, you do it thinking that it is going to be forever, and I blame no one but myself.
‘I’ve made not the best choices when it comes to relationships. I’m good at putting on rose–coloured glasses.
‘Obviously, the worst part for me is that I have kids. I don’t care about me, I know I will be okay, but I feel awful.’

Hembrow and Zukowski tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the Château Du Soleil in Byron Bay, NSW, last November, just three months after getting engaged.
But rumours of trouble in paradise followed them at every turn, as eagle-eyed fans noticed them constantly unfollowing and re-following each other on Instagram.
Since announcing the end of her marriage, Tammy has kept fans guessing about her love life.
Just last week, she raised eyebrows by posting a TikTok video featuring her ex-fiancé Reece Hawkins – the father of her two eldest children, Wolf, 10, and Saskia, nine.
In the clip, the former couple – whose 2018 break-up was quite acrimonious – were all smiles as they laughed and posed with their kids, with Tammy even seen affectionately touching Reece’s arm.
‘Whole gang’s here,’ she captioned the post, which racked up nearly 900,000 likes and more than 11 million views – sparking a frenzy of speculation about a possible reconciliation.

Smith missed the entire 2024 season for the Western Bulldogs following an ACL injury before joining the Cats for this campaign.
The injury took a toll. Speaking on the Real Stuff podcast, Smith admitted he spiralled during his recovery.
‘When you have to sit with yourself and be your own source of entertainment, fulfillment, stimulation, that’s when I had to look inward and realise, ‘S**t, I am pretty f***ed up and I need to sort my s**t out,’ he said.
‘I got into some bad ways going flat–out after my knee [injury] and getting on the p**s and being an idiot, which we all do, but that was my coping mechanism.’
