Leigh Leopards boss Adrian Lam says he hopes his side mount a response when they face Warrington Wolves again in the Challenge Cup on Saturday.

Lam’s side were thrashed 42-6 by the Wire last weekend, in a humbling display which means they have lost five of their opening seven Super League games in 2026.

The 2023 winners make the same short trip back to the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday hoping to reach the semi-final stage for the second successive season.

“Every week is a good opportunity to kickstart the season,” Lam told Radio Manchester.

“Whilst there’s a heartbeat there’s hope and I feel very disappointed with the way we played last week, hopefully there’s a better response to that.

“We can control a lot of our actions that we did or didn’t do last Saturday so we’ve got an opportunity to turn that around.”
