Will the Kindle Paperwhite drop further in price?

The Kindle Paperwhite has just had a further price cut for the final day of Amazon Prime. Tech expert Thomas Deehan named the Kindle Paperwhite his top premium pick in our guide to the best ereaders, praising it as “the most luxurious way of experiencing Amazon’s library of ebooks”.

(Amazon)

Thomas gave the Kindle Paperwhite five stars in his review, singling out the larger 7in display and adjustable warm light, which makes reading before bed much easier on the eyes. “As a new father who only has time to read during the early hours of the morning or when I’m settling into bed, the warm light on the Kindle Paperwhite is much appreciated,” he said.

In her Oral-B iO3 review, expert tester Lucy Smith wrote: “I enjoyed everything from the quadpacer vibrations that prompt you to move to the next section of your mouth to the pressure sensor light beneath the brush head, which gives a clear visual cue if you’re brushing too hard or too lightly.” Plus, she added that it’s two-week battery life meant it was “more than dependable” for daily use.

The Oura ring is more than 50% off

The latest iteration is “a huge step up from the gen 3 across the board – the design, battery life, features and in-app experience have all improved”, said The Independent’s fitness and wellbeing expert Emilie Lavinia in her review of the Oura ring 4. Right now, it’s more than 50 per cent off making the price considerably less eye-watering.

“The price of the Oura ring may put some people off, but I’d argue this is a more lifestyle-led tracker than most,” said Emilie Lavinia.

“It’s a more valuable investment for regular people who want to take charge of their health, work with the AI coach, and share reports with their doctor. It doesn’t seem as exclusive or athlete-focused as many other wearables.”
