Applications are now open for PEACEPLUS Investment Area 2.3, supporting skills development across the Programme Area

The Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) is accepting applications to the Programme Area Skills Development objective under PEACEPLUS Investment Area 2.3. This second call focuses on addressing current and emerging skills gaps while improving inclusive access to education, training and lifelong learning across the Programme Area.

The objective aims to strengthen workforce capability, increase employability and support cross-border labour mobility in line with public policy priorities.

Which projects are eligible?

This call has an indicative budget allocation of €4.9 million and will support projects that

• address evidenced skills gaps across the Programme Area
• improve access to inclusive, high-quality education, training and lifelong learning
• support upskilling and reskilling aligned to key growth sectors
• strengthen cross-community and cross-border collaboration
• enhance employability, productivity and labour mobility

Who can apply

SEUPB encourages applications from organisations with experience in skills development and employability support. Priority is given to projects that demonstrate strong cross-border partnership working and clear alignment with labour market needs.

Organisations are particularly encouraged to apply where they are involved in

• training and employability provision
• industry engagement and workforce development
• inclusive pathways to employment
• tourism and hospitality, including AI adoption
• supporting individuals who are not in education, employment or training (NEET)

The closing date for applications is Friday 17 July 2026 at 5pm.
