Oklahoma City star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player for the second straight year, it has been revealed.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Gilgeous-Alexander has become the 14th player in league history to win back-to-back MVP awards after scooping the 2026 prize.
The 27-year-old has enjoyed another terrific season for reigning NBA champions Oklahoma, who kick off their Western Conference semifinal against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.
