Sky Sports Boxing presenter Anna Woolhouse has revealed that she is joining rival broadcaster DAZN after nearly a decade in the job.

The 42-year-old, who joined Sky Sports in 2012, confirmed that she will continue to front their World Darts Championship coverage among ‘other exciting projects’.

Woolhouse is Sky Sport’s lead boxing presenter and is one of four new on-screen broadcasters to join the DAZN boxing team alongside Ariana Bravo, Olivia Wayne and Jolie Sharpe.

Posting on Instagram, Woolhouse wrote: ‘The next round & the start of a new chapter.

‘After almost 10 years with the incredible Sky Sports Boxing family, I’m excited to announce I’m heading to join the @daznboxing team.

‘I love working in this incredible sport and can’t wait to cover more of the biggest fight nights.

‘I’ll also be continuing to work on the World Darts Championship for Sky Sports, along with some other exciting projects, you’ll be sick of the sight of me!

‘Huge thank you for all the support. Let’s go!’

Wayne, who was co-presenter on Sky Sports’ Good Morning Sports Fans, replied to Woolhouse’s post: ‘Reunited and it feels SO good!’

British former professional boxer Johnny Nelson also congratulated Woolhouse on her appointment.

Woolhouse has covered many high-profile fights, most recently the heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Arslan Makhmudov for Netflix on Saturday.

She also interviewed Anthony Joshua following the first loss in his professional boxing career to Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019.
